Hi guys. no posted picks last week. 5-1 YTD.
Winnipeg @ Calgary: The Bombers have several injuries to deal with and we'll see if the early trend that every team has lost ATS after beating Edmonton. Could be they've won too easily, and are a lil too confident. I like Calgary here giving less than a TD. They are playing at home for 2 straight and have been stout on defense for the most part. Winny is coming off a win but have several injuries to deal with, at least in practice for the week. Odell Willis has been away for personal reasons and that hollers WTF? he's a valuable defender. Jyles looked solid but if I had a dime for every second game slump I'd be sunning in Cuba instead of the Shuswap. Actually come to think of it I'll take the Shuswap. I'll take Calgary-6.5
enjoy

Thanks Coaster
It is, for the most part, civil. Not a lot of discussion but civil. But there are some Very Good CFL cappers here. Each week I would bet there is a winning weekend. It's a small little nugget in a desert full of junk.
I cannot always quite figure out cnotes plays ( I mean I read it but can't always tell who he is on) but that's just a good humored quibble..
Good luck this week.

I like the Stamps defence as well Pat and I realize the Peggers- err Bombers have had alot to deal with re injuries and as you say WTF personal reasons.

History is on Winnipeg's side ATS as they are 3-1 ATS vs. Calgary L3 years. Also this is only the Bomber's 2nd road game of the season and the Stamps are coming of an impressive 20 point home win <><> last week against the Green Machine. Bombers won at home last week by 26 vs. Hamilton.

YTD Rushing and Passing #'s side with the Stampeders; but something tells me it will be closer than just under a TD.

I will ride the 'dog at the best juice number I can find. Just means my line alert signals will drive me nuts all day.

Thanks for your insights and missed you last week.

Thanks whadda...ya the thing that worries me most about this play is the Stamps tendency for ambivalence after a win. Not sure if that is still there but it sure was in years past. Huffnagel has weeded out a lot of guys and doesn't tolerate much and maybe that's what he's been addressing. For sure tho, the dog has a good shot here, the Bombers seem like a gritty group. And there is that pesky trend where home div fav suffer after a div win.
enjoy the game ( maybe find a 7-, Stamps win by 7 and we both are happy)

Can't really place your handle but there is familiarity ...maybe the names have changed?? thanks for your thoughts.

aaaah....hi. Great to hear from you. without a doubt the king of unbelievable streaks...you could really rattle them off.. go 2-1, 2-2, 3-2,2-3... then boom 13-0. legendary in my mind.
hope all is well.

You look pretty accurate Whadda on your call on my pick. More than pretty accurate-dead on I'd say. No matter how much Calgary seemed to have the game and number within their grasp Winnipeg never quite went away. They are a gritty bunch. Interesting game. Burris has always had trouble with accuracy on the deep ball and that showed up here. He seems to throw it to not get a pick, often 10 yards too deep. Amazingly, the Bombers could've won this thing outright. I'm not sure why they got so impatient at the end. But like most CFL tilts it kept you on edge throughout.

Hey E-man, I just roll with gut feelings usually after studying #'s and weighing odds. I remember that 13-0 I hit. Was the first major win of my sports investing life. Aahh the good old days. Never hit another like that one. It's like getting a hole in one on the links. It may or may not happen but once in your life. I will watch for your insights down the road. Thanks again.
